Outside The Oval stadium—where the ICC World Cup 2019 is going on—an Englishman’s bhelpuri stall has taken the internet by storm.
The fans attending India’s World Cup match against Australia were impressed with a British man named Angus Denoon, who nailed the art of making the Indian classic street food. A video of him making bhelpuri effortlessly made it to social media, where it went viral in seconds.
When a customer asked him where he learnt to make bhelpuri, he replied: “Kolkata”.
When Denoon was praised for making the dish quickly and effortlessly, he said: "I learnt from the masters".
His presence and skills outside the Oval cricket stadium won several hearts, with Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan saying in a tweet: “bhery bhel done”.
