Jaipur, June 24
One more person died from injuries sustained after Sunday's tent collapse in Barmer’s Jasol village, police said in Monday.
The number of deaths now stands at 15.
Eight-year-old Pokar Ram, who was rushed to Jodhpur’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences, died this morning, IGP Jodhpur Range Sachin Mittal said.
"A case would be registered against the organisers once the rescue and medical care is over as per the law,” the IGP said at a press conference.
The tent collapse on Sunday after a sudden storm to a short circuit and caused an audience of over 1,000 people gathered for ‘Ram Katha’ to panic on Sunday afternoon. Police said organisers, Rani Bhatiyani Mandir Sansthan, also in Jasol, organised the event without permission from either police or the fire department.
