New Delhi, July 3

The Army recruitment of troops under the Agnipath scheme will starts with physical rallies next month.

A series of recruitment rallies are planned from mid-August to November to enrol around 25,000 troops. A notification for the induction of soldiers under the Agnipath military recruitment scheme was issued on July 1.

The Army said the online registration on the force’s recruitment website was mandatory for all job aspirants.

The enrolment of soldiers in the regular cadre of the Army, except technical cadres of medical branch, will be available only to those personnel who have completed their engagement as Agniveers.
