Mumbai, October 25
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday said if the GST system has failed, the Centre should admit it and revert to the old system of taxation. “Maharashtra has not been refunded its GST dues of Rs 38,000 crore which has created huge financial crises in the pandemic times,” he added.
He was speaking at the Sena’s annual Dasehra rally.
He warned the BJP of anarchy in the country if it remained interested only in toppling governments rather than improving the nation's economy. He dared the Centre to topple his government. He also hit out at Kangana Ranaut for equating Mumbai with Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). — Agencies
