New Delhi, November 9

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel today nabbed a Dubai-bound Indian passenger at the IGI Airport here for allegedly trying to smuggle Saudi currency worth Rs 24 lakh, a senior official said.

The passenger was intercepted with 1.2 lakh Saudi Riyals (equivalent to Rs 24 lakh) in cash during security check at Terminal-3 of the airport.

He was later handed over to the Customs authorities as he could not furnish valid documents for carrying the foreign currency. — TNS
