Former Union Minister Buta Singh underwent surgery after he was rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) following brain hemorrhage on Monday.
The senior Congress leader, who served in the Indira Gandhi Cabinet, suffered the stroke this morning and was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Buta Singh’s family told The Tribune.
Buta Singh, 86, also served as Governor of Bihar and West Bengal and headed the National Commission for Schedule Castes.
