Jaipur/New Delhi, June 13
A 20-year-old French national, Gaelle Chouteau, has been missing from Rajasthan since June 1 and when last in touch, she had left for Jaipur from Pushkar.
The French Ambassador to India, Alexandre Ziegler, tweeted for help on Wednesday: “If you have any information about her, please write to us at: admin-francais·[email protected].”
After the envoy flagged the issue, the Ajmer police looked into the matter and found that Gaelle, on a two-day visit to Rajasthan, stayed at a hotel in Pushkar on May 30 and 31 before she went missing.
In August 2013, the embassy had similarly sought information about two of its nationals missing from Himachal Pradesh. — TNS
