Gehlot to take oath today

Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh will administer the oath of office to Chief Minister-designate Ashok Gehlot and Deputy CM-designate Sachin Pilot around 10.30 am in front of historic Albert Hall Museum here tomorrow.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi and top 20 leaders of the Opposition parties “Mahagathbandhan” (grand alliance) will attend the ceremony, AICC spokesman Pawan Kheda said today.

Gehlot and Pilot separately visited the venue and directed officials to make adequate security bandobast for VVIPs and seating arrangements for public.

Gehlot has sent invites to former Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh and HD Deve Gowda, grand alliance leaders Farooq Abdullah, Chandrababu Naidu, Sharad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, MK Stalin, M Kanimozhi, Hemant Soren, Babulal Marandi and Congress MP Mallikarjun Kharge, among others.
