It is necessary to ensure that nothing is done to dent the morale of the security forces, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday, a day after Pakistani fighter jets violated Indian air space in response to Indian forces targeting a JeM terror camp in its territory.

Modi said India will fight, live, work and win as one and nobody can create hurdles in its march towards development.

“We have full faith in our forces,” the Prime Minister said, interacting with BJP cadres through a mega video-conferencing under the party programme to connect with 10-crore workers “Mera Booth Sabse Majboot”.

The Prime Minister said India’s adversaries want India to slowdown and stop in its developmental activities, but “we as a country have to show them that India will neither stop nor stall its development activities.”

“We are all citizens of a brave country and we should also be parakrami. A parakrami never thinks that he or she has done enough should now rest. As a parakrami we have to work hard and take the country to even greater heights.  My request to all citizens is that whichever role they are engaged in, they should work harder and continue taking India to greater heights,” the PM said.

“Our country will take grow with new niti (policies) and riti (methods). We are full of confidence, our youth is full of confidence. Desh ke kisan se le ke jawan tak sab jante hain namumkin mumkin hai,” he said, also urging people not to believe in fake news and propaganda being spread by Pakistan.

The PM said each citizen of the country is coming forward to help India grow as a nation.

The aim of the video-conference is to connect BJP Karyakartas, volunteers and eminent citizens through the NaMo App through around 15,000 locations at various districts, mandals and Shakti Kendra level.

BJP chief Amit Shah participated in the programme from 14, Pant Marg, New Delhi, Delhi State BJP Office. The mega interaction was organised across all 14,000 mandals of the party, 896 districts and metropolitan cities. Additionally, places where Shakti Kendras are more than 20 kilometres away from the mandal office, programme will be organised at the Shakti Kendras.

All the Chief Ministers and Cabinet Ministers of the BJP-ruled states participated in the programme along with senior office-bearers of the party.

The mega interaction is taking place through the NaMo App and was also available on party’s Facebook pages, Twitter handles and YouTube Channels. Several third party apps and media players to reach approximately 10 crore people across digital platforms.

However, the interaction took taking place amid allegations that the BJP leadership was using the escalated tension between India and Pakistan to its political advantage.
