LJP opposes Bihar poll in Oct-Nov

New Delhi: BJP ally Lok Janshakti Party wrote to the Election Commission on Friday against holding the Bihar polls in October-November, saying it would amount to “pushing people towards death”. The party said resources should now be focused on curbing the Covid-19 crisis and tackling floods in the state and not holding the polls. — PTI
