The Lok Sabha is likely to be adjourned sine die on Monday evening, four days ahead of schedule.
Sources said two of the remaining four days of the Lok Sabha proceedings would be holidays - August 9 (Muharram) and August 11 (Raksha Bandhan), leaving two days of business.
The House may transact the remainder of the major legislative business for Monday before adjourning it sine die.
The Electricity Amendment Bill 2022 was introduced in Lok Sabha in the morning and sent to the standing committee on energy.
The Rajya Sabha schedule is yet to be confirmed. Vice President-elect Jagdeep Dhankhar is to take oath on August 11.
Sources said the Rajya Sabha could also be adjourned earlier than August 12.
