Southwest monsoon on Monday further advanced into most parts of the Arabian Sea and Gujarat, the India Meteorological Department said.

Conditions are favourable for further advance of monsoon into the remaining parts of the Arabian Sea and Gujarat, some parts of Rajasthan, remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh and Bihar, a few more parts of Uttar Pradesh and some parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir during the next three to four days, it added.
