MUZAFFARNAGAR: A man was arrested for allegedly throwing acid on his wife at Folda village in Muzaffarnagar district, police said on Friday.



Muzaffarnagar, September 21

A man was arrested for allegedly throwing acid on his wife at Folda village in Muzaffarnagar district, police said on Friday.

The incident occurred on September 19, SP (city) Ombir Singh said.

During interrogation, the accused identified as Bablu confessed to the crime, he said.

The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, he added. PTI
