Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) stumped Congress leader Shashi Tharoor with their brilliant reply over Sanju Samson post.

Sanju Samson, who scored 212 not out for Kerala, making it the highest individual score in the Vijay Hazare Trophy clash against Goa in a match on October 12, was noticed by Shashi Tharoor.

The Congress leader was so impressed that he went on to urge the Indian selectors to take note of the cricketer.

Tharoor wrote: “In transit in Frankfurt on the way to the @IPUparliament meeting in Belgrade when i get the news that Thiruvananthapuram’s own Sanju Samson has hit 200 in a Vijay Hazare 50 over game! Ten sixes, 20 fours. Don’t know if our white-ball selectors were watching?!”

In a witty remark, a week after Samson's double hundred and Tharoor's tweet, Rajasthan Royals replied: "5 days late; took us that long to frame it. Call us puerile or rodomontade, but in this farrago, the @IamSanjuSamson innings was a pulchritudinous source of amazement."

“As long as your runs are more than the letters in your words, you will keep us fans of @IamSanjuSamsonhappy!! Best wishes @rajasthanroyals,” was Tharoor’s humble reply, who is famous for his oratory skills.
