New Delhi, December 4
Veteran journalist Vinod Dua, who pioneered the Hindi broadcast journalism, died on Saturday. He was 67.
His daughter, Mallika, broke the news on Instagram, saying: “Our irreverent, fearless and extraordinary father, Vinod Dua, has passed away. He lived an inimitable life, rising from the refugee colonies of Delhi to the peak of journalistic excellence for over 42 years, always, always speaking truth to power.”
The last rites will take place here on Sunday.
Dua was infected with Covid this year and remained frail thereafter. Last week, he was admitted to Apollo Hospital following complications. — TNS
