Shiv Sena to stay away from voting

MUMBAI: The Shiv Sena on Friday decided to abstain from voting in Friday''s trust vote against the Narendra Modi government. On Thursday, a whip issued by the Sena had asked all MPs to support the NDA government.

The Shiv Sena on Friday decided to abstain from voting in Friday’s trust vote against the Narendra Modi government . 

According to sources, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has asked his party MPs to abstain from voting in the trust vote.  

Earlier, Uddhav had asked his party MPs to remain in Delhi, but the final decision as to if the party will support the Modi government against the Oppositions no-confidence motion was be taken on Friday. 

On Thursday, a whip issued by the Sena had asked all MPs to support the NDA government.
