JAIPUR: Six persons, including three women, were killed on the spot and 11 others injured when a Safari collided head-on with a roadways bus on the annual Ramdevra Mela on the Phalodi-Jodhpur road.

Six persons, including three women, were killed on the spot and 11 others injured when a Safari collided head-on with a roadways bus on the annual Ramdevra Mela on the Phalodi-Jodhpur road.

The injured were rushed to a government hospital in Pokaran, while bodies were taken for postmortem, Ramdevra Station House Officer Devi Singh. 

The deceased included three women, two men and a boy, the police informed.

The victims, who were on a pilgrimage to Ramdevra, belonged to Lavera Bari in Jodhpur district. A few passengers of the bus also got injured. A case has been registered and investigation initiated, said the police.
