Sonia''s opposition parties meeting to discuss ‘One Nation, One Election’ ends inconclusively

NEW DELHI: Leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party Sonia Gandhi''s meeting of opposition leaders ended inconclusively on Tuesday evening, a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s all-party meeting over simultaneous elections.

New Delhi, June 18 

Leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party Sonia Gandhi's meeting of opposition leaders ended inconclusively on Tuesday evening, a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s all-party meeting over simultaneous elections.
 
The meeting ended without a decision on the subject on Sunday after several opposition parties skipped it.

A decision will now be taken after another meeting on Wednesday, sources say. 

Invites for the meeting, which will be held at the Parliamentary Building Complex, were sent out in the afternoon. 
 
Congress and its allies have decided to back National Democratic Alliance's Speaker nominee.
