Surya Kiran’s ‘incomplete diamond’ show to honour pilot killed in crash

BENGALURU: Four days after a crash killed Wing Commander Sahil Gandhi, the Indian Air Force''s aerobatic team of Surya Kiran took to the skies to honour him at the at the Aero India show here on Saturday.

Four days after a crash killed Wing Commander Sahil Gandhi, the Indian Air Force's aerobatic team of Surya Kiran took to the skies to honour him at the Aero India show here on Saturday.

Wing Commander Gandhi was killed during rehearsal in the mid-air crash between two aircraft of Indian Air Force's aerobatic team Surya Kiran near Bengaluru on February 19.

IAF Surya Kiran flew the “incomplete diamond” formation to honour the death of Gandhi at the show. Wing Commander Gandhi was a member of the Surya Kiran team.
