No headway in case

Ludhiana, February 26

Days after the attack on Shiv Sena Hindustan’s leader Amit Arora, the Ludhiana police has failed to make any headway in the case, but fearing such attacks in future, Ludhiana Police Commissioner Rakesh Agrawal has increased the security of over two dozen Shiv Sena and RSS leaders.

Yesterday night, the CP had called a meeting of all senior police officials and after long deliberations, it was unanimously decided to increase the security of several leaders.

Sena leader Chandarkant Chadha, who was already having gunmen, has been given additional guards, while another leader Vishal Madaan has also been provided gunmen. Congress leader Gursimran Singh Mand, who spoke against Khalistan, has also got gunmen.

Leaders who got security are Rakesh Kapoor of Shiv Sena Punjab, Sena leader Laddu Machi, a journalist in vernacular, Lucky Kapoor, Sandeep Thaper, Dinesh Puri Mahant of Sangla Wala Shivalya, Sunil Tangri, Rohit Tangri, Honey Bhardwaj, Sena leader Bhanu, RSS leader Phool Chand Jain and Nanda.
