Ludhiana, February 20
A city-level technical sub-committee under Ludhiana Smart City Limited has given its nod to the proposed projects during a meeting held today. The CEO of Ludhiana Smart City Limited, Sanyam Aggarwal, said they had given approval to the projects, including installation of fencing along Buddha Nullah, lighting for beautification of flyover along Sidhwan Canal and upgrade of the basketball court at Guru Nanak Stadium. He said the files of these projects would be sent to the higher authorities for vetting.
One of the directors, Sanjay Goel, also attended the meeting. He said the proposed projects related to construction and commissioning of 22 sites for installation of compactors, and upgrade and beautification of parks in the city were discussed. — TNS
