The Ophthalmological Society of Doaba (OSD) was formed with the initiative of IMA Phagwara president Dr Rajan here on Wednesday.
Dr Ashok Sharma was elected as the first president unanimously. Dr Rajan told mediapersons here on Thursday that Dr Dinesh Madhok from Banga was elected as the general secretary. Dr Tushar Aggarwal was elected as the treasurer. Dr Balwinderjit Singh (Hoshiarpur) was elected as the vice-president and Dr Karan Khanna (Hoshiarpur) was elected as the joint secretary.
