He said “a roof over every poor person’s head” is not just a promise, but a symbol of the firm intention and sensitive thinking of the AAP government.
Dr Balbir Singh said for poor families, a “pucca” house was not just a building made of bricks and cement, but it was also the foundation of security, respect and a happy future. The goal of the Punjab Government is that no poor family of the state should remain without a roof. In this direction, the government is continuously working in a planned manner and direct help is being provided to needy families.
He said AAP had taken important steps in the fields of education, health, employment and social welfare. Providing houses to the poor was an important part of this thinking. He clarified that the campaign would not be limited to particular area or a few families, but it will be implemented across the state.
