Patiala: Eight new Covid cases were reported from the district on Saturday taking its tally to 137. Five members of a Rajpura family found infected had concealed their travel history to New Delhi. The sixth patient, a 42-year-old man, is also from Rajpura and had returned from Doha. The seventh patient, a 26-year-old youth from the Patran block, had returned from Gurugram. The eighth patient is from Malerkotla town in Sangrur. He came to Rajindra Hospital for treatment. He also had interstate travel history. — TNS
