Aditya Garg of Ryan International School and Garima of Budha Dal Public School jointly topped the district with 99 per cent marks in the CBSE Class X exams.
The second position was shared by Sambhavi Singla of DAV School and Jashanpreet Kaur of Budha Dal Public School with 98.2 per cent. Aastha and Pabhnoor of Budha Dal Public School shared the third position with 98 per cent. Aditya, who scored 100 marks in two subjects, said, “I am feeling very happy with the results. My success mantra is regular study throughout the year.” He wants to become an engineer.
Garima, daughter of an engineer, wants to become a doctor. She said, “I am very happy with the results. I used to study 10-15 hours a day.”
While congratulating the students, Dr Amrit Aujla, principal, Budha Dal Public School, said, “We are proud of our students. This is the result of the hard work put in by the students and staff.”
Pooja Sharma, principal, Ryan International, congratulated the students and wished them luck in their future endeavours.
