The body of a 15-year-old boy of Mandi Gobindgarh, who had slipped into Bhakra canal during the immersion of an idol of Lord Ganesha on September 17, was found in the canal at Tohana in Haryana today.

Sudhir Malik, incharge of the Sirhind police station, said on September 17, the boy, Aryan, along with residents of Mandi Gobindgarh, had gone to the canal to immerse an idol of Lord Ganesha. After immersion of the idol around 5 pm, he started bathing and suddenly fell into the canal.
