The meeting of all major farmer unions of Punjab to establish unity remained inconclusive as all stakeholders have decided to meet again on January 18.

Members from Ekta Resolution of SKM All-India, including Joginder Singh Ugrahan, Balbir Singh Rajewal, Darshan Pal, Raminder Patiala and Yuddhvir Singh reached Patran for a joint discussion with Kisan Mazdoor Morcha leader and Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) members.

During the Moga mahapanchayat on January 9, the SKM (All India) had passed the “Ekta Resolution”, emphasising the need for broad unity among various unions to press for their long-standing demands.
