CWZ, Zirakpur, has won the Little Champs Cup tournament held at the grounds of the Black Elephant Cricket Club of the Army in Patiala.

Colonel Mayur Datta, CO 1 ADSR, and vice-chairman of Black Elephant Club, was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony.

In the final match, ACA, Amritsar, won the toss and elected to bowl. CWZ Zirakpur’s innings began on a disappointing note, with the team losing seven wickets at a score of 47. However, Ateeb’s impressive 84 runs and Saral’s 53 helped the team recover, eventually posting 198/8 in the allotted 35 overs.

In reply, the Amritsar boys team struggled against Zirakpur’s spin attack and were bundled out for 114 runs in 29.1 overs.
