Patiala, August 5
The Health Department today checked 31,012 households and detected larvae at 561 sites in the district during its anti-dengue drive, “Friday Dry Day”. The larvae were immediately destroyed.
Officials said so far, around 10 cases of dengue had been reported from the district this season. Six of these surfaced in rural areas.
