BJP leader Preneet Kaur and president of the party’s Mahila Morcha Jai Inder Kaur today slammed the government and the Education Department for its midnight attempt to remove contractual professors and induct new teachers from the 1158 assistant professors group.

Jai Inder Kaur said, “While we welcome the HC’s decision to allow the recruitment of 1158 assistant professors, this shouldn’t come at the cost of approximately 850 contractual professors working in colleges for past 20 years.”
