Govt college holds career counselling

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Government Mohindra College, Patiala, conducted a seminar on ‘How to crack CAT- a pathway to corporate world’. Theseminar was meant to inform students about exploring the possibility of pursuing an MBA as a lucrative career option. Experts from Chandigarh told students about the essential personal and academic traits needed for pursuing an MBA which could be learnt during the course and later be put to use in managerial roles. Emphasising the toughness of the CAT exam and the rigorous preparation required to crack it, the speakers analysed it’s complexity by breaking it into different segments and further suggested some strategies for each segment. They further asked the students to be observant enough to look at the nuanced strategies employed by corporate companies to run their business.
