He said the state government has zero-tolerance policy against the gang culture and illegal weapons; and the perpetrator of the act will be brought to justice.
The minister met the injured youth and his family and assured them of immediate arrest of the accused. Referring to the panchayat samiti and zila parishad elections, Dr Balbir Singh said the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) did not resort to any coercion and that the elections were conducted in a free and fair manner.
He said the ruling party participated in the elections in a democratic way, but alleged that AAP workers were targeted by goons belonging to parties that had ruled the state in the past.
