Judge inspects facilities at children?s home in Patiala

Rajinder Aggarwal, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, paid a special visit to Yadvindra Puran Bal Niketan, Lahori Gate, and Bir Ji Dasaundi Ram Apahij Ashram here on Wednesday. He was accompanied by other officials who interacted with children and inmates regarding study, food, medicines and problems being faced by them.

The officials also heard and redressed their complaints. Officials said they issued directions for the care of health and education of the children and the inmates. They said, “Superintendent, children home was directed to ensure that there should be no laxity in the facilities being provided. Similar directions were issued for medical and food related facilities at the ashram.”
