Patiala, April 2
The police have registered a case against a man for killing his daughter, who allegedly fled with a person of another caste. The police have also booked three unidentified persons.
The suspect is a resident of Manoli Surat village, Banur. His 18-year-old daughter had eloped with another man. Later, the suspect brought his daughter home, the police said. The suspect along with three others killed his daughter and burned her body at the cremation ground on Wednesday, the police added. A case has been registered. — TNS
