On a checking spree, Health and Family Welfare Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra today visited the Civil Hospital at Nabha.

Asserting that the state government was making efforts to ensure the best, accessible and affordable medical facilities at its hospitals, the Health Minister said the infirmaries would be equipped with advanced instruments and healthcare facilities. “Improvement in healthcare facilities and upgrading existing infrastructure are among the foremost priorities of the AAP government,” he said.

The minister, who was on a surprise visit, took a round of the hospital and directed the officials concerned to improve the existing infrastructure. The minister said he was personally making visits to the hospitals to know the ground reality by interacting with patients ahead of formulating the new health policy.
