The Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Rajpura Division, has installed a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the water supply in Kabulpur village. The project was completed within three years.

Jagbir Singh Jaggi, newly elected Sarpanch, said the groundwater in Rajpura division had high levels of fluoride, prompting the need for an alternative water supply system.

Expressing gratitude to the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation, Rajpura Division, Panchayat members said after a long wait, the villagers would get safe potable water.

It also provides critical data on water quality, pressure and flow, facilitating prompt responses to any potential issues.

The project was completed under the supervision of Amritshivraj Singh Chahal, SDE WTP, Mandoli, Ghanour Subdivision; and Pawandeep Singh, JE, Bahadurgarh Subdivision.
