Patiala gets new Regional Transport Officer

Poonam Preet Kaur has assumed charge of the Regional Transport Officer (RTO), and Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Patiala. She met the office staff today and briefed them on works of the public, which she said should be their top priority, besides ensuring effective and efficient service delivery in a transparent manner.
She reiterated that public grievances would be redressed in a time-bound manner. The RTO checked the automated driving test track on the Nabha road and interacted with the public. She directed the staff to ensure timely disposal of pending applications.
She assured that the track would be revamped soon for the upcoming summers with the construction of waiting hall, public utilities and provision of safe drinking water.
