Patiala health officials collect food samples

Patiala, October 27

To check the adulteration of food in view of the festival season, the food wing of the district Health Department today collected seven samples from two sweets shops.

Health officials inspected two sweet shops — Aneja Sweets and Aman Sweets. District Health Officer (DHO) Shelly Jaitley said they had collected the samples of various sweets as part of the ongoing drive to check the adulteration of food during the festive season.

“We will continue our drive to check the adulteration of food during the festival season. Every sweets shop — including the prominent ones — will be raided and samples will be collected,” said DHO Jaitley. — TNS
