Power corpn gets new chief accounts officer

Patiala, August 22

Jaswinder Singh was promoted as the Chief Accounts Officer (Revenue) at Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) here today. He assumed charge at a simple, but impressive, function.

Jaswinder joined the service in 1997 in the erstwhile PSEB and got promoted. During his tenure as the deputy CAO (Pension), he worked for the upliftment of the section. His vision was to provide all services to pensioners, including digital services.

Interestingly, Jaswinder is the first such officer in his cadre who got promoted from the lowest to the highest post of the cadre in a very short period. “I will continue to ensure that the common man and retired officers continue to get quality service with minimal delay,” he said.
