Patiala, July 13

Students of Budha Dal Public School topped the district in the CBSE Class XII results announced today. Prabaldeep Singh and Prachi Goel of the school attained top position with 98.4 per cent in the humanities stream.

Commerce student Sahil Gupta of Dayanand Public School of Nabha secured the second position in the district with 98.2 per cent and Maurya Sharma of Budha Dal Public School grabbed the third position with 98 per cent (non-medical). The third position was shared by Chayanika of DAV Public School of Patiala who also scored 98 per cent (commerce stream).

Prabaldeep Singh, the topper, who wants to join civil services, said he never aimed at securing good marks rather he focused on the process AND learning new things. He said: “Good marks are by-products of gaining knowledge and learning new concepts. If one is honest and puts in sincere efforts, he or she will certainly succeed.”
