Punjabi University Student Welfare Office organised an awareness event focusing on mental health and drug prevention for students of the University Model School. The event highlighted the pressing need to address mental health issues and promote a drug-free lifestyle among young learners.

Presiding over the event, Monica Chawla, Dean of Student Welfare, emphasized the importance of creating awareness among students about the dangers of substance abuse.

“The session for school students is part of our ongoing efforts to instill positive values at a young age,” she said before announcing a new initiative where students would sign a pledge form committing to a drug-free lifestyle from the next academic session.
