Patiala, July 22
A 31-year-old woman of Vikas Nagar on Bhadson Road here was murdered by two unidentified persons last night. The victim has been identified as Preeti Kaur.
Tripuri SHO Harjinder Singh Dhillon said the incident took place around 11 pm. He said the woman was staying at her parents’ house when she was attacked. Officials said the youths, riding a two-wheeler, fired gunshots from outside the house, which hit Preeti, who was standing in the lobby of the house, on her back. — TNS
