Women sashay down the ramp

Women showcased western and Indian attire during a fashion show held at the National Institute of Sports here on Thursday.

Products prepared by designers Sahil Kochhar, Preeti Mohan and Mahesh Sharma were part of the show attended by MP Preneet Kaur and other leaders and administrative officials.

Though many clothes on display included long western gowns and skirts for women, designer Kochar said clothes had been put on display as per the requirements and demands of youngsters today. “Youngsters, especially women, demand new designs and traditional designer party wear clothes.” — TNS
