The prestigious Yadavindra Public School, Patiala has got Navin Kumar Dixit as the new headmaster. Dixit brings with him a wealth of experience in the field of education and will serve as the 12th headmaster of YPS.

An alumnus of Jodhpur University, Dixit hold MSc degree in mathematics and brings over 28 years of teaching and 19 years of administrative experience. He began his career in education in 1996 at the Air Force School, Jodhpur. He later served at Army Public School, Dagshai, before joining Mayo College, Ajmer in 1999, where he worked for 25 years. He held numerous positions, including headmaster of the senior school, chairman of the games committee, educational consultant, and secretary to the collaboration committee of the Mayo College General Council.

Beyond academics, he mentored students in sports and directed captivating theatre productions.

In his inaugural address, Dixit emphasised his commitment to the welfare and development of students, maintaining the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and excellence in academic and extracurricular pursuits. He acknowledged the vital role of the staff and parents in enduring young minds and highlighted the accomplishments of the school’s esteemed alumni as constant sources of inspiration.
