Residents had their own share of fun as the ongoing PITEX turned out to be a perfect weekend destination.

The day saw families and couples come in numbers to the international trade exhibition. Food stalls remained a major attraction. There are stalls offering food of various states. One such stall is the one offering Rajasthani food, which has been coming to the fair for the last many years. Shikha, a budding artist, said, “I liked the food, especially the Rajasthani kachori. I always look at such items.”

Stalls from Thailand caught fancy of residents. It had earnings, necklaces and other products. The velvet-based material also catched eye balls. Rahul Mahajan, a businessman, said, “We as a family have been coming to the fair and look forward to enjoy it in the future, too. As some families prefer it as their annual go-to place, I, in particular, liked the velvet stuff and silk sarees. The weather and food here makes it more enjoyable at times.”

Sunday also saw people turning up for organic items, such as haldi and honey. A special musical evening was also held.
