Rahul Jaittly, who plays the negative lead Kaido in Heer Ranjha, is loved and hated in equal measure. After working in Bollywood and television industry, the actor is now showcasing his talent in the Punjabi entertainment industry.

Coming from the Army background, Rahul spent his formative years in Punjab. From doing episodic serials like Savdhan India, Crime Patrol to working in web series to playing an important role in the movie, A Daughter’s Tale Pankh, he has been working hard to climb the ladder of success. Rahul’s latest appearance in a song, Dilpreet Dhillon Is Back (Karara Jawaab Milega), has won him accolades from netizens.

By meditating or writing down my blessings. It might sound funny, but I share my feelings with God. I prefer sitting alone.

Kurta pyjama and Nehru jacket along with pocket square.

Any cherished memory from a city of Punjab’

Spending time in Chodha Bhawan, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, which is owned by my nani. I have lots of memories as we cousins used to play around in that big building. I also feel proud of knowing my roots.

Big lockdown realisation...

…That with proper planning in place, I can do almost anything. From practising the law of attraction to doing workouts to dancing to doing riyaaz, to acting. I could do everything during those 24 hours of the day.

House chore that you enjoyed?

Cooking. I baked a birthday cake for the first time in my life. It was for my father.

First thing you did after the lockdown?

I was pretty much inside until we were called for shootings. So, I headed back to the sets.

New hobby you indulged in?

Photography.

You binge-watched?

Breathe, Paatal Lok, Jamtara and thriller film, 7500.
