Gurdaspur, September 14
As many as 10 persons were injured, including two seriously, when a private bus going to Sri Hargobindpur from Gurdaspur rammed into a tipper at Sathiali bridge, 10 km from here, today.
The injured were admitted to the Gurdaspur Civil Hospital. Two of them were referred to an Amritsar hospital. Four of the injured were women.
Eyewitnesses claimed the bus driver, while trying to overtake a car at a high speed, lost control of the vehicle and it rammed into the tipper coming from the opposite direction. — TNS
