Sangrur, August 21

In 14 Aam Aadmi Clinics set up by the state government in Barnala district, more than 2.50 lakh patients received free treatment from January to July 31.

Barnala Deputy Commissioner Punamdeep Kaur said a total of 1,22,543 lab tests were one free of cost during this period.

These Aam Aadmi Clinics are being run at Ugoke, Chuhanke Khurd, Bhathlan, Gehlan, Rureke Kalan, Dhilwan, Sehna, Chappa, Thikriwal, Bhaini Fatta, Handiaya, Bhadaur and Barnala city.

Apart from providing medicines, several tests, including blood sugar, HIV, HCV (black jaundice), HBSAG (liver disease), VDRL (pregnancy test), urine albumen (jaundice) and blood test to detect malaria are done
