More than 2.58 crore people availed themselves of the free treatment at Aam Aadmi Clinics (AACs) during the past one year, stated Dr Balbir Singh, Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education and Research, in a press release here today. Nearly 1.08 crore of them had visited the AACs for the first time.

He said an anti-dengue campaign, ‘Har Shukarvaar Dengue Te Vaar’, resulted in around 55% reduction in dengue cases and 70% fall in the number of deaths due to the disease this year as compared to the year 2023.

The minister said 223 road accident victims were provided free treatment under the Farishtey Scheme.
