The Nihal Singh Wala police in Moga district have apprehended two individuals and seized one kilogram of heroin from them today. The police claimed that, acting on a tip-off, they conducted a raid and intercepted the suspects, seizing the drugs. The arrested individuals have been identified as Arshdeep Singh (alias Dara), a resident of Kalia Sakatra in Tarn Taran district, and Gurbir Singh (alias Gora), a resident of Malkawadi Basti.

Preliminary investigations reveal that both accused have prior criminal records involving serious offences. Arshdeep Singh was previously booked in May 2025 under the Arms Act at PS Valtoha. Gurbir Singh has a history involving the NDPS Act, with a previous case registered against him in 2019 at PS Valtoha.
